Opis

We are pleased to announce the holding of the next 16th Creative Meeting and the "Together in the 21st Century" Festival. This time they are entitled “Sophia invites the art of Faith, Hope and Love”.

The event is held online from 04.04 to 02.05.2021 (from Easter New Style to Easter Old Style).

We will be glad if our invitation reaches a wide range of creators and performers, both to our old friends and participants in previous festivals, and to new groups and individual performers. We are convinced that with this next creative meeting we will provide opportunities for expressing talents, striving for spiritual development, for peace and friendship between people from different countries and peoples.

Conditions for participation

Participation in XVI INTERNATIONAL CREATIVE MEETING AND FESTIVAL
"TOGETHER IN THE XXI CENTURY"
"SOPHIA INVITES THE ART OF FAITH, HOPE AND LOVE" ONLINE
IS FREE OF CHARGE!

We invite to participate:
1. CHOIRS AND VOCAL ENSEMBLES: professional, academic, amateur, educational (school, student), children, youth, folk (equal voices and mixed voices); in choirs - at least 16, in ensembles - from 2 to 16 people;
2. SOLOISTS-VOCALISTS: classical, folk music, jazz, pop singing, patriotic song.
3. DANCE ENSEMBLES AND SOLOISTS: folklore ensembles, pop, ballroom contemporary dance, pantomime, modern.
4. INSTRUMENTALISTS (ensembles, soloists).
5. ORCHESTRA (brass, jazz, folk).
6. THEATER: dramatic, musical, modern, original genres, author's song theater. Fashion theater.
7. ARTISTS, DESIGNERS, PHOTO ARTISTS, MASTERS OF APPLIED ART.
8. COMPOSERS, POETS, WRITERS, AUTHORS, AND ALSO PERSONS IN THE GENRE OF AUTHOR'S SONGS (including beginners).
9. STUDENT AND SCHOOL COLLECTIVES FOR STUDYING RUSSIAN LANGUAGE AND LITERATURE. Present a literary or literary-musical program (it is possible with a video sequence) up to 10 minutes.

The works must correspond to the theme of the festival - striving for spiritual development, peace, friendship and harmony.

In order to take part in the festival you have to send by 03.04.2021 the following materials:

Video greeting of the head of the collective or solo performer, participant of the festival in any of the above genres (up to 1 minute). We recommend that you include in your presentation: the name of the participant, city, country, why you are participating, how do you feel about the ideas of the festival, your message to the organizers and participants.
1 - 2 pieces of your performance, reflecting the national characteristics of your country or people, the theme of the festival in the form of a video file or a link to YouTube. Folklore works, works of local authors, author's arrangements, sacred music are welcome. / as a file, links to a video or audio resource on the Internet (if possible) with ideal sound quality.
Information about the participant (biography) and artistic director up to 1500 characters, color digital photograph of the collective, photograph of the artistic director.

We give YOU freedom of choice, including the duration of the performance, as well as the dates of recording (including archived recordings). Freedom of choice is also provided for participants in any genre of art and literature. Photographers and artists send photos of their paintings in high quality!

Please send also photo of the flag of the country, symbol of the city of the participant of the festival.
The presence of national costumes of participants is encouraged (optional).

The application is accepted for inclusion in the festival program after written confirmation from the organizers.

Please send one email from each team, which includes all information about it, including applications, photos, audio or video files, or links to YouTube. In the subject of the email, indicate the name of the team or the name and surname of the participant!

PROGRAM OF THE XVI CREATIVE MEETING "TOGETHER IN THE XXI CENTURY" ONLINE:

(on the YouTube portal, on the Festival website and on the Facebook festival portal)

Grand opening and closing, Gala concert;
Broadcast of all performances;
If desired, a choral, choreographic, theater group or orchestra can perform with their concert program for no more than 1.5 hours. This must be indicated in the application to determine the program of the Festival and send an approximate program with the timing of the sound in advance;
Broadcasts of recordings of past years of the Festival, group, individual master classes on the exchange of repertoire (rehearsal technique, concert practice).
Master classes for performers are conducted by recognized master conductors of leading groups in Europe and the world, famous musicians, artists, other outstanding personalities (including Kakhaber Onashvili - Georgia; Willie Weiner - Armenia; Vladimir Kyon - Ukraine; masters from Russia, Bulgaria and other coutries). The detailed plan will be announced by March 15, 2021;
Broadcasts of the best concerts of the Festivals of the past years - GOLD FOUNDATION "TOGETHER IN THE 21st CENTURY";
Creative workshops in various genres, lectures, round tables of choirmasters, choreographers, teachers, writers. The specific plan will be announced by March 15, 2021;
Information meeting of users of the International Choir Site chortownia.org and IT training.
Online exhibitions of paintings, photographs and folk art.

The program of the online concerts and the Gala concert is determined by the organiser's director and production group, which includes prominent figures of culture and art.

Awards and nominations:

All participants of the festival (creative groups and individual performers) will receive a Participant Diploma.
By the decision of the international jury, in each nomination and age category, the Laureates (I, II, III degrees) are determined, who are awarded the corresponding certificates of the Laureate. The jury can divide the title of the laureate among several participants, and also not award it to anyone.
By secret ballot of the jury, the winner of the Grand Prix of the festival in a certain nomination is determined. Grand Prix may not be awarded.
The jury has the right to announce additional special prizes. (For example: Diplomas for 10 festival laureates from the Eurasian Council of Composers and Musical Figures; prizes for performances in Russian and Bulgarian languages, etc.)

In the choral, vocal and instrumental categories, there will also be awards:
- The best performance of a spiritual work;
- Best performance of an old song;
- Best performance of a work by a contemporary author;
- Award for Musicality, Best Solo;
- Prize for Peace and Friendship - the meaning of the concept of the International Project;
- Special DIPLOMA for the best performance of a work in Bulgarian and Russian.

Age categories:

I. Children younger group 5-8 years old;
II. Children middle group 9-14 years old;
III. Children older group 15-18 years old;
IV. Students, youth - from 18 to 30 years old
V. Adults

The festival professes the ideas of friendship and cooperation of different peoples, the exchange of cultures and traditions. Disrespectful statements and conflicts on ethnic or religious grounds lead to automatic disqualification of the collective.
