V. International Student Choir Forum "Paparats Kvetka" is an incredible holiday of songs, unforgettable experience of communication, outstanding choral work-shops, new friends, and bright impressions! With pleasure, we offer your Choir to take part in it! Forum Rules 2010: ◦The Forum will be held by the Belarusian State University in the city of Minsk, Belarus, May 5-9, 2010. ◦Participants information The maximum number of participants from one group should not exceed 35 persons (including performers, leaders and other accompanying persons). A participating group performs free programme of various genres, including the compulsory musical compositions, offered by the organizers (the list will be sent additionally together with the official invitation). The total duration of the programme should be 45 minutes maximum. ◦Selection The Artistic committee will select choirs for participation in the Forum by presented concert audio recording with regard to artistic value of the work. An accepted group will receive the official invitation and the Forum programme after March 1, 2010. ◦Fee Participation fee amounts 50 Euro per a person (including performers, leaders and other accompanying persons) and covers costs for accommodation during the Forum. Foreign participants pay the fee on arrival. ◦Covered/Not-covered expenses Expenses for meals (3 times a day), main cultural and entertaining events will be covered by the Forum. International travel costs, health insurance should be covered by a participating group. ◦Deadline The Application deadline has been extended to February 15, 2010. Belated applications might not be considered. ◦Application enclosures The following compulsory material should be enclosed with the application: concert audio recording (no less than 3 pieces of various genres); list of concert programme pieces; Recent high-resolution digital photos; The group’s history, containing the most important artistic achievements; Shortlist of participants, including name/surname/gender/date of birth/ passport number/position in the group; Participation agreement. ◦Forum Participants’ Awards Choirs are awarded with Certificate of Participation and Special diplomas, decided by the Forum Council of Experts. There could be also prizes by mass-media representatives, sponsors, the Festival’s organizers and founders.
