Grand Prix Thailand 2018
The International Festival of Choirs Grand Prix Thailand 2018 will be the Festival's 11th installment. Since its establishment in 2007 the Festival builds gradually its position among similar projects in Southeast Asia.
At the time of its foundation, Grand Prix Thailand was the only festival of its kind in Thailand. Bangkok Opera Foundation running the region's unique opera ensemble "Opera Siam", symphonic orchestra "Siam Philharmonics" and youth orchestra "Siam Sinfonietta", has been the Festival's co-organiser since the very beginning. For its 5th anniversary the Grand Prix Thailand festival was awarded the "Silver Rose Award" by Bangkok Opera Foundation and Thai Ministry of Culture for exceptional contribution to performance arts in the Kingdom of Thailand.
