Koncert chóru gruzińskiego
Zapraszam miłośników tradycyjnego polifonicznego śpiewu w sobotę, 13 czerwca, o godz. 18.30 na koncert na Rynku Głównym (scena od strony wieży Ratuszowej). Wystąpi tam jeden z bardziej utytułowanych i znanych na całym świecie chórów - GEORGIAN VOICES.
“GEORGIAN VOICES”
The second generation of the Ensemble “Georgian Voices” was created on the base of Tbilisi State University. First the Ensemble was called “University”. Since 2004 the Ensemble has been performing named as “Georgian Voices”. The Ensemble repertoire has been distinguished by its variety. It consists of folklore songs and creations of different composers. For more than 18 years the Ensemble has been arranging solo concerts both in the country and abroad. “Georgian Voices” has successfully performed in such countries as: England, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, Italy, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Russia, the United States of America and etc.
Each member of the Ensemble was awarded by the President of Georgia with the Order of Cavalier of Honor.
“Georgian Voices” had the honor to sing together with Bobby McFerrin, Keti Melua, “Take 6” and other famous singers.
In March of 2014 the Ensemble “Georgian Voices” issued its seven CD album and held its presentations and solo concert in the Tbilisi Big Concert Hall.
