Sonderstipendium für deutsche Chorsänger!
According to grant condictions from die Stiftung für deutsch-polnische Zusammenarbeit, we would like to invite 4 singers from Germany (possibly a quartett SATB, but we will be happy for another set) to join out workshop choir for free, we also refund some costs up to 250 euro per person.
Except this we still have places for 3 basses and 3 tenors.
It is also possible to organise homestays for free, if you dont want to stay in the hotel (we can assist at booking a room). The nearest airport is Katowice (we can pick people up from Katowice airport!) where cheap lines go from Dortmund and Koeln or a little bit more distant Kraków, but there are also direct trains from Gliwice to Berlin, Viena, Budapest, prague and other European capitals and direct buses to different German cities (like quite cheap Flixbus from Berlin).
PLAN
31.08 and 1.09 morning section rehearsals with vocal trainers (Barbara Tritt, Magdalena Nogańska, Damian Suchożebrski and Bartosz Gorzkowski), in afternoon tutti rehearsals with instrumental ensemble, conducted by Łukasz Łoboda)
2.09 morning tutti rehearsal, 19:00 concert in St. Jacek church in Bytom (a parish, where Gorczycki was born in 1665)
3.09 at 16:00 concert in Wszystkich Świętych church in Gliwice
Our project is supported by Fundacja Współpracy Polsko-Niemieckiej, Centrum Kultury Victoria w Gliwicach ("Start-up kulturalny") and the Municipality of Bytom.
