PROGRAMME
6^thInternational Choir festival
TUSCANY (TOSCANA), ITALY
OCTOBER 5 – 8, 2017

THURSDAY, 5 OCT 2017
Arriving to Italy.
Coach / bus driver (supplement) meets the choir upon arrival (airport or railway station).
Accommodation at centrally located hotel in Montecatini Terme.
Evening opening of the Festival. Get together concert and welcome party at luxury Grand Hotel La Pace.
All choirs introduce themselves with short presentation and recital. Any selections from own repertoire
(approx. 10 minutes / choir).
First common rehearsal for the gala concert.
Welcome reception (dinner buffet).

FRIDAY, 6 OCTOBER 2017
Breakfast at hotel.
Morning city sightseeing tour in Florence with a fully licensed local guide (entry fees not included).
Afternoon rehearsals and concerts at various churches in Florence.
2-3 choirs / venue (approx. 30 minutes / choir).
Back to Montecatini Terme.

SATURDAY, 7 OCTOBER 2017
Breakfast at hotel.
Free morning in Montecatini Terme. Optional: visit Lucca or Montecatini Alto this morning.
Afternoon gala concert at Basilica di Santa Maria Assunta in Montecatini Terme.
Performance of participant choirs (approx. 8-10 minutes / choir). Grand finale – the common songs.
After the performance, all choirs visit the traditional Tuscan wine yard, Fattoria Il Poggio in Montecarlo.
Wine tasting, dinner and music. Selection of local wine and olive oil at the gift shop of the old farm house.

SUNDAY, 8 OCTOBER 2017
Breakfast at the hotel and check out.
Departure

End of services.

CITY TOUR                           Florence sightseeing with local guide. Walking tour
