Opis
Since its first edition back in 1996 the International Youth Chamber Choir Meeting has become one of Europe’s first destinations for a youth choir festival. In August 2016 you can join the 11th edition on the beautiful German island of Usedom (Baltic Sea)!
About 250 young people will study exciting new repertoire with renowned international choral conductors, explore the island and enjoy the sandy beaches. Choirs will perform together in concerts, with the final concert in the impressive St. Petri church in Wolgast as the highlight of the Meeting.
In 2016 the International Youth Chamber Choir Meeting will take place from 12-21 August.
Participants:
Girls and mixed youth chamber choirs (up to 26 years) 36 persons per choir max. (including 4 members of staff max. plus bus drivers)
Programme and concerts about 20 hours of atelier rehearsals choir-to-choir concert 1-2 additional concerts on the island performance in a church service final concert: presentation of ateliers Accommodation and transportation
During the meeting, participants will stay at a youth hostel in Trassenheide, just 100 meters from the sandy beaches of Usedom island. Choirs are expected to bring their own bus to help getting participants to all events!
