Participants from Russia, Bulgaria, Moldova, Poland, Slovakia, Georgia, Ukraine, Israel and Romania successfully performed and received well-deserved awards.
The main organizer of this international event is the Sustainable Development of Bulgaria Foundation with Stanka Shopova as General Director and Natalia Barabanscicova as Artistic Director. As part of the creative meeting, the III International Biser Kirov Competition and the Kamchia Stars Festival were held.
According to tradition, the festival “Together in the 21st Century” began with the Day of Bulgaria, in which Bulgarian culture was presented - customs, traditions and folklore, a demonstration of the film “This is Bulgaria”. Each of the guest countries also prepared its own day, which had its own unique creative programs. Bulgaria was represented by "Orpheus Choir" from Plovidv, directed by Violeta Kovacheva.
The best choir this year was definitely Lúčnica Chorus from Slovakia conducted by Elena Matušová - their performance stole everybody's hearts.
For the participants of the meeting and the festival, workshops with outstanding masters of international fame were held.
Lesson of Georgian music with wonderful Kakhaber Onashvili, conductor of Mdzlevari Men's Choir. Workshop choir consisting of people from Slovakia, Poland, Moldova, Ukraine and Russia.
The long-term project “Together in the 21st Century” of the Foundation for Sustainable Development of Bulgaria is a creative platform where people of art and culture exchange ideas and experiences, create and create beauty that has no borders. The project covers people of all nationalities and ages - children and adults who want to achieve spiritual communication, friendship and peacemaking through art and joint creativity.
